The Lee Family Arch
The Lee Family Arch welcomes our visitors with a fascinating archway of seashells, gems, beads, crystals, stones, pearls, marbles, Mom and Dad's watches, stick pins, earrings, Lee Company lapel pins, tie tacks, and even a minnow.
These are actual family mementos and other items that represent the rest of the generous, creative, and supportive family members and friends of Museum Founder and Curator, Marietta Lee, such as her parents, Leighton and Marietta Lee; her five brothers, Leighton III, Phil, Tom, Rob, and Bill, Aunt Bev, Cousin Newy, Grandmother Fagan and Aunt Mary who encouraged her to paint. This arch was created to honor them and all of the ongoing hard work of the Lee and Fagan Families that made this Museum possible.
